About Pewter Data

The people behind Pewter

Pewter was founded by three enterprise sellers who have spent their careers inside the buying decisions of large companies. Chelunor and Troy met as sales interns at Gartner; Troy and Nick later sold together at OpenWater. We help business owners understand what their operating records are worth to AI labs, and we coordinate the sale so their legal, privacy and security teams can review every step. For AI labs, we are a direct line to established businesses whose records can't be found on the open web.

Chelunor (Lawrence) Nwajei

Managing Partner · New York

Chelunor (Lawrence) Nwajei

Chelunor has spent a decade in enterprise technology sales at Dell, Adobe and Salesforce, and led sales at a startup through its acquisition. At Salesforce, Chelunor was a senior enterprise account executive for its data and AI products, working with CIOs, security leaders, legal and procurement teams as they decided how customer records could be unified, governed and put to work.

That is the question every Pewter deal turns on: where a company's valuable records live across its CRM, service, sales and finance systems, what a security team needs to see before anything moves, and why a strong dataset can still stall in legal review. At Pewter, Chelunor leads seller relationships and deal structure, and wrote Before You Sell Your Data, our guide for owners and counsel.

Nick Konstantinidis

Nick Konstantinidis

Nick co-founded BuzzLead, a B2B outbound agency, and runs the research, targeting and list-building behind its client campaigns. Before that, Nick sold software at OpenWater across its virtual conference and application-review platforms and stayed through the company's acquisition, after starting at Paychex, where Nick was named Rookie of the Year in 2019.

At Pewter, Nick leads market research and seller sourcing: mapping which industries and companies hold the records labs ask for, and finding the owner or executive who can make the decision. For labs, that means a data request is matched against companies that fit the brief before anyone picks up the phone.

Troy Aitken

Managing Partner · St. Pete Beach

Troy Aitken, MBA

Troy co-founded BuzzLead and oversees its sales, marketing and outreach infrastructure. Troy began at Gartner, advising CIOs of healthcare organizations and helping launch its Center of Sales Excellence in Dallas, then sold at OpenWater and at Flock Safety, whose customers scrutinize closely how data is collected and used. Troy holds an MBA.

At Pewter, Troy runs outreach and the commercial process that takes an owner from a first conversation to a defined engagement, so every party knows the steps, the timeline and the terms before work begins.

Our story

Three people who have been selling side by side for years

Nick Konstantinidis and Troy Aitken met in high school in Richmond, Virginia, and went on to Christopher Newport University together. There they sold custom T-shirts to the sororities, fraternities and clubs on campus, and did it well.

A few years later both were account executives at OpenWater, selling its virtual conference platform as COVID moved every event online. They competed for the top of the board and loved it. In 2022 they started BuzzLead, the outbound agency that now runs demand generation for Pewter.

Troy met Chelunor (Lawrence) Nwajei in the summer of 2017, as roommates during a Gartner sales internship in Fort Myers, Florida. Each saw the other as a high performer right away. Chelunor went on to Dell in Austin, then to Adobe and Salesforce. Troy stayed at Gartner advising CIOs, then sold at OpenWater and Flock Safety.

In October 2026 the three of us founded Pewter, bringing more than 25 years of combined enterprise sales experience to the owner's side of the table.

Why Pewter

One metal, many forms

Modern pewter. Sources: Britannica, Pewter.co.uk

Pewter is a soft alloy, mostly tin, that melts at a low heat and holds a fine shape.

For centuries the same metal was cast into tankards, plates, spoons and medals, depending on what the household or the occasion called for. When a piece wore out, it was melted down and cast into something new. The metal stayed the same. Its value came from the form it was given.

We see a company's data the same way. The same records can be shaped into very different products for different frontier labs, and how that story is told decides what a buyer will pay. We help owners shape the narrative around their data and take it to the buyers most likely to pay the highest price.
